Preparing materials:
Different from other charcoal types it is made from sawdust, which is a combination of crushed wood, bamboo + longan, iron wood, rose wood, etc. Thanks to its organic material, it does not harm the environment and is preferred by many users.
Sieving and Drying:
Sawdust undergoes several crucial steps during the briquetting process. Sieving is essential to remove contaminants such as metal, plastic, and tree bark, ensuring the highest quality raw material. This step is crucial as it directly impacts the burning time and heat consistency of the final product. Furthermore, controlling moisture content is paramount. Therefore, drying the sawdust to maintain a moisture content below 5% is crucial for optimal briquette production.
Briquettes:
In this step, workers will start feeding the sawdust to the briquette machine to compress and shape sawdust into a hexagonal shape. The outcome is beautiful, uniform fifty-centimeter wooden sticks, ready for the carbonization process.
Carbonizing:
This is the final step in producing sawdust briquette charcoal. Our briquettes will be arranged in kilns and burned for the next 20 days. Upon removal from the kiln, workers skillfully and carefully stack the charcoal into baskets, crates by hand to prevent breakage.
It can be seen that producing sawdust briquette charcoal at high quality is not easy at all. To ensure its benefits, we need to ensure our materials are uncontaminated and every step is done meticulously and accurately.
